    What Are Your Unhealthy Responses to Stress? Stress can lead to some bad habits. Aside from the major negative responses to stress that obviously require professional intervention, there are some very common unhealthy responses that many of us find ourselves falling prey to.

    I tend to not eat... and spend all of my money on crap.

    ...not crap, I guess- nice things; but stuff that I don't necessarily need.

    drinking, eating, sex, drugs, videogames, too much time online.

    Eat, or don't eat... for days
    wine at night, caffeine in the morning (got a cup 'o coffee right now)
    the choice of cutting isn't there - that is one I try not to use

    and I certainly wouldn't mention...
    a bubble bath or too much sex :eek:hmy:

    I tend to eat to much or eat to little and make myself sick either way. I also abuse my medication and lash out at people who don't deserve to be treated that way. I also tend to self-harm as a coping method if it gets to be too much =/

    Drink more, eat less, sleep a LOT more. I tend to completely shut down under the slightest amount of stress- I become very quiet and unresponsive. I lock myself in my room and try to hide.

    When I get stressed I tend to bite my nails a lot. I've done it to the point that they hurt lol. Its a habit I'm having a hard time breaking.

    im a binge eater when im stressed out. or i go shopping and buy everything and waste my money on stuff i don't even really need. or i'll go out and drink way too much.
