Something that is a normal part of life and society upsets you so bad that you just can't take it? There's no way to avoid it except for complete social isolation, but you don't want to work on changing it because you don't want to be that kind of person?

To an extent, I think I know what you mean. But do you think you can be a little more specific? People might be able to help more.

I think I know what you mean, and it has, in fact, limited my capacity for sociability.

I'm just trying to...find an alternative.

I avoid the things that upset me...but there's only so much you can avoid in society. Some things you have to face if you want to live a "normal" life. Like I said, avoiding it completely would mean social isolation, which I'm not really going for.

Still, I limit how much I come into contact with that which upsets me. I can't completely eradicate it, though, and it sucks.

I don't want to go into specifics because I don't want people to judge me.
