    Despite everything
    Despise everything
    I have no excuse
Though I see, hear, breathe, eat, drink, laugh
    Things are still not clear
    Nothing gets through

The blind, the deaf, the crippled
The croppled, people who have been
Toppled from the heights, the blighted
A lot of them find strength, humor
    To overcome the horror
And go on. You know they're
Given awards and written about in
    Magazines

    Look at me
I have all my senses, my limbs
    I'm slim and can move
    I'm smart I have a brain I can
    See and feel
And I want it to stop
    I want life to stop
    Well shame on me
    Shame, shame on me!
