I am so fed up of feeling sick all the bloody time.

I went to the doctors last week, and he put it down to irritable bowel because he couldn't find anything else it could be. However I feel no need to rush to the toilet, so how could it be that?

It's a constant sickness right in the pit of my stomach, swirling around and getting worse when I eat. It's usually not too bad; but I have bad days and good days. The bad days are when I'm almost crying with sickness on my bed because I want it to stop.

Last night, I was lying in bed and it came on all of a sudden. And it was the most sickest I've ever felt. I lay on my stomach pressing it, trying to get myself to be sick so it would actually just come out and that would be the end of it. It wasn't happening though. The pain was terrible. All you heard was whooshing noises coming from my stomach. I was holding it and crying and crying in pain.

I was looking up the internet and found a syndrome it might possibly be, "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome". I have nearly all the symptoms.

I have also posted this because I am sick to death of always feeling sick. It is affecting my life. I don't want to go swimming anymore, I can't sleep at night and I'm taking interest in nothing.

Does anyone know what this could possibly be?

My Mom had CFS, and when the Doctor told her she busted out in tears because she thought it was a fake illness and that the Doc was patronizing her. They did some thyroid tests and found that it was under-active and that she was also hypoglycemic, so she would get very weak. She was also under a LOT of stress at the time. Now she is fine even with no medication after some treatment. Anyway, I hope this helps a bit.

Sometimes its a bit risky to self diagnose. Have you considered telling your doctor you want to go to a specialist? You may get a much better diagnosis and treatment that way.

I don't know. I was told to monitor it for 8 weeks and go back to report back.

I've started to find it gets worse when I stop exercising. Which is a pain in the backside because it's refraining me from doing my swimming training. I haven't been in weeks and used to go 4 times a week, twice a day and now I can only imagine maybe once a week for 45 minutes. Describing it.. it's like something is stuck in my throat and I have to swallow to get it back down.. and I feel like I'm going to be sick constantly after that for maybe 5-10 minutes badly then it calms down.

I can't concentrate on school work because I either am extremely tired because my stomach kept me up all night or else I am complaining about my stomach.

Everyone in my family is laughing saying it's all in my head but clearly it's NOT. I have stopped telling them it's sore because all they do is laugh in my face and tell me to grow up. I ask for an appointment and they tell me to stop wasting their time.

I'm not because I seriously cannot cope anymore with this. I even asked my mum to write me a note to get off PE because of the exercise part. She refused- so now I have to run a mile then come back and do athletics for early 2 hours.

I dunno what to do anymore :(

IBS can be constipation and/or the runs, rumbly stomache and quesyness after you eat. CFS can make you totally lose interest in life to the point of not wanting to get out of bed. You have no energy and feel down. you sound like you could have both of these and also depression. get a second opinion.

Try and get a second opinion. What you are describing could be combination of things, your frustration, anger and feelings of helpelesness is only going to start compiling on other symptoms.

I hope that you are being proactive in finding this issue.
