Snowboarding but I don’t live in the mountains at present. In summer I do calisthenics that I learned the routines by following videos. Also kenpo which I learned some from a guy who we were in the same hospital. The idea is that everything including our bodies even the stuff in our cells are all in motion always. The easiest exercise is with a square on the ground, you practice your stance walking around it and can add left and right punch or side parry. To me it’s relaxing and gives me the same good clear feeling as snowboarding plus the benefit of self defense. When I was training every day a broom handle got knocked down at me from behind and my ears heard it and my body turned and parried it away without my brain having to think just from muscle memory. It is exercise you don’t need space or machines and it helps feeling secure.
