So, I'm now in a second storey room with a big, south-facing, unshaded window, and I want a plant. I can put it outside the window on warm days and take it in otherwise. Is there anything that flowers year-round and smells nice? That would be good. I'm in Toronto if that matters, similar climate to the northern US.

I've decided upon Senecio cineraria. It flowers once per year and those are usually pruned off. It's all silvery and should look pretty all the time.
