What are some songs that make you feel happier when you're sad?
the acoustic cover of heartbeats by Jose Gonzalez
for me when I'm down I typically listen to a lot of the band "Bright Eyes'
Afroman, no joke. His humor is cheery to me somehow.
through the rain by mariah carey
Film soundtracks... some of my favorites these days are the music from The Fountain and Inception.
The Shins, particularly "Phantom Limb" and "Wincing the Night Away"
Hellogoodbye, particularly "I Never Can Relax" and "You Sleep Alone"
the song "You're Not Alone" by Saosin has been therapeutic for me. They're an emo band, not everyone's thing, but that song is a ballad about suicide and not like your average emo song.
When I am sad I listen to one of the classics like Maria Callas. Even if you dont like opera listen to her before you judge me! (whatever age you are)
I would suggest something like: Maria Callas the voice of the century
A bit of James Taylor would also be nice!
The "Clockwork Orange" soundtrack.
Syetem of a Down <3 their music never fails to cheer me up.
Saliva, Puddle of Mudd, and Nickleback!!
lately I've been listening to emotion sickness by silverchair.
