I read this in a wikipedia article.

Suicidal ideation is defined as considering or fantasizing about taking one’s own life. Ideation may range from vague or unformed urges to meticulously detailed plans and posthumous instructions. According to medical practice, severe suicidal ideation, that is, serious contemplation or planning of suicide, is a medical emergency and the condition requires immediate emergency medical treatment.
It's interesting that just thinking thoughts counts as a medical emergency. So according to this, since I've worked out several plans in my mind "in case I need them", I ought to have recieved emergency treatment.

What would they do to you?

well if you went to a hospital or ER room they would have a physic talk with you and if they felt you were really going to do it then they probably would admit you into a physic ward and watch you for about 72 hours

With me , they did nothing until i attempted it , then they rushed me to the ER and brought me back to life and sent me to the physic ward for about 3 days then let me go home

i dont think a cop can actually do anything to you until you have made the attempt.. a cop once told me that they cant arrest someone on something they might do , this was in a case about a domestic desput i was having with an x , so basically they couldnt do nothing unless he stabbed me or something like that

That is so silly. Of COURSE you are going to say you are O.K. These people are supposed to be trained to see beyond that...how annoying.

Look. I have been suicidal most of my adult life. The only time it meant anything was when I decided NOT to tell anyone. I was bleeding to death for 2 hours while my parents sat 50 feet away. Ultimately, I went out and drove 5 blocks to a friend's house and he took me to the hospital. Bottom line, if you are going to do it, it is done. The fact that you are asking means that you want to live. As unpalatable as that seems, you want to live.
