What will happen to you when you die?

Just a simple question really, "What will happen to you when you die?"

If you're religious then I guess you might not need to worry about this because you probably think you already know. But for the rest of us, we may need to make up our own minds about this. So what is your philosophy?

Picture this: You are alone in the dark one night all by yourself. You picture yourself dying and your soul surviving and going on for ever and ever. But how long is FOREVER? If this is the case, then would you really want your soul go to on for ever and ever, or would you prefer your soul to die and be vanished from existence?

How amazing, a world where we can experience all sorts of different physical and emotional pain. A true masterpiece from God, as he allows us to challenge ourselves by cutting ourselves off from the outside and having to put up with living in physical bodies in this strange world.

Unfortunately I cannot be saved now, but that doesn't mean you can't be. To everyone who has tried to help me, all I can say is "Thank you for your services. Happiness prevails!"

Cant rightly say..

when i left my body.. i went to plain darkness, nothing, could not see anything, including my own hands, but what really was amazing was that i had no pain..

i also just learned that because i am still alive some people are hurting so with me going away and dying then their pain will end then that is whjat i am going to do.. i will suffer for them to let them go free ..

so perhaps i will go back to darkness, in any case.. it will let them not hurt anymore.. i dont care how much hurt it might cause me at least they will not hurt anymore.. i will sacrefise for them.. i love them that much you know???

to go into darkness for them.. to keep them from being hurt...

Errum, it's forever.

If this is the case, then would you really want your soul go to on for ever and ever, or would you prefer your soul to die and be vanished from existence?
Why bother even asking that question?

Since when do you think your preferences have anything to do with your soul's eternal circumstances?

I think the reason why you felt no pain white dove, is because when your astral body (spirit) left your physical body, you were no longer attached to your physical body and only a physical body can feel pain. Astral bodies can not feel pain, because they are beings of light and they don't have the 5 senses. They just sort of float around. I suppose that's what happens when we die. Our astral body permanently leaves our physical body, but what happens after that is anyone's guess.

I've read much about it. Some say you still feel the pain you felt when you are alive. Because you need to face your life and what you learned from it. Then you are re-born. If you commit suicide you will live with the pain for the time you were supposed to on Earth.

What makes it so hard to take out of body experiences as factual evidence of life after death is the fact that all of the people that report them do not actually die. They may be declared clinically deceased but obviously if they come back something is still functioning. Our entire reality, everything we see, touch, taste and hear is a virtual reality projection presented to us by our brains parsing massive amounts of information into the five senses as best as it knows how. There are millions of particles floating around at this very moment that we can't see, touch, taste or hear simply because our minds are not sensitive enough to handle information that to that degree of accuracy and even if it could, we would probably be overwhelmed by our senses.

If our entire consciousness is created by the brain it is quite possible that these experiences can be replicated based on what we believe happens at the time of death. A team of swedish scientists actually found a way to induce an out of body experience by electonically stimulating a certain part of the brain. It's just that no one wants to look at the possibility that this life might just be it and once the ride is over it's over, no blackness, no pearly gates, no pit of fire, no one wants to be told that they just wink out and life goes on.

Everything we are is just brain chemistry, electricity between neurones... Once our brain ceases to function, once we die, we simply are nothing. End of existence. That's what will happen to me when I die. Nothing. I don't mean to upset the ones who believe a human being is made of a body and a soul, but I truly believe we don't have any.

To die isn't a journey towards something else, there is no heaven or hell, nothing to fear and nothing to look forward to. Nothing.
That's what I believe too, how could it be otherwise...

ermm I guess it will be like before you were born, but no one knows what that is

just nothing I bet...bit scary thinking about it though, like I don't think you'll even realise you're dead cos yanno, you can't think or anything...just nothing there

that probably doesn't make sense lol but it's weird thinking about it

You just go to sleep forever and ever. Time won't matter anymore. You may have a few dreams if you're lucky and you may even think some of them are real.

No wait, maybe life is just an illusion, along with all your other dreams...

The worms eat you meat,
then decompose & go back to the soil.
As simple as that.
Heaven or hell, the hell with them.
