If I called 911 tonight and said I didn't plan on living through the night, what would they do? Anyone have experience with this? I am actually feeling good tonight but have considered it in the past.

I don't have experience, but I heard that if it is believed to be serious enough, they will trace the call and send someone over to you. Sorry if it didn't help much, but that's what I hear.

Yeah I think they get your physical address from your phone number... I guess that makes sense. It would be a tough call.

I don't got personal experience here since I never have done that. But from what I've seen in hospital records I guess they get the phone number from where you're calling (if I remember right those are almost automatic or at least the area) and have a cop come check on you. Some patients I've taken care of will have come into us after the cops go to do a safety check on the person. So I guess they will have someone do a check on you.
