...What's happening?

I'm so confused. I myself have been suffering from depression on my own for the past 2 years, and so much is happening right now.

Monday I was informed that my classmate's father commit suicide. He was suicidal after his bitch wife told him she was leaving him, taking the kids, and that he was good for nothing.

Tuesday I was informed that my step-sister attempted suicide, but now all she wants from my family is money.

And now today I am home from school because of pink eye.

Why are people so scummy? I always read stories about people who die because they are too good for this world and it's awful humanities....

I'm sick and tired of the people on this world who think they control others, who don't care, who don't attempt to understand others, and who judge others.

I'm sick of it all, really.

There are people who seem to exist just to make things miserable for others. But there are just as many good people in the world. For some reason we tend to focus on only those who have done terrible things. The others stories remain unknown. I decided one time that it was time to focus only on the positive things I saw happening. I carried a notebook around with me to record only the good things I saw. I expected the notebook to be empty at the end of the day. But, you know what? It wasn't. I had filled many pages about the kindness I saw exhibited by both people I knew and didn't know. I was shocked to see all the things I had missed because I only took notice of the negatives.

I am sorry to hear about what happened with your classmates father and your step-sister. Both of those are enough to deal with on their own, let alone in such a short time span. So true for every bad there has to be a good and knowing that there are people here that are going or have been through the same thing is so much help in its self I have found it helpful in away that I didnt know :hug:

I did what you did today in school, and here is my list:

Someone offered me a hug because I looked "depressed"
My good friend Erika said I was the coolest person ever
Someone gave me a pencil because I need one in Trig. class
Someone held the door open for someone else

That's 4 things. Not a nice list.
I'm serious when I tell you my community sucks, the people suck, and it's not friendly here.

Yeah the world does suck like that. But please do not kill yourself. I have a friend who is planning on dying for the same reason. I asked her to just hold out hope that she will meet those like her. I am one of them, I hate asking people to hold out for the love of one person.

We should get to know each other maybe I can give you hope in humanity again.
