I am not depressed I just don't see the point of my existence. I don't do anything or want to do anything. I just want to be left alone but I am forced to pretend to be happy when I am empty. What's the point?

You're thinking about the bear. I know of the bear, and he knows all of us. Speak to him.

You just want to be left alone.
My Uncle said that, he hated everything about his very existence, so he worked hard, like a maniac for 3 years, sold everything he owned, bought a house in the Canadian wilderness and now he lives there, he just reads all day, fishes, eats, and proof reads various things for a bit of extra cash, but he is left entirely alone.
My Mum says it isn't normal but who is to say what's normal. If it works for him, I can't see a problem.

Do you think something like that could work for you?

I have to disagree with you. You are depressed if you don't want to do anything..You should see a shrink and let him/her evaluate you. Then you will know for sure.. You have to be honest with them to get an accurate diagnosis.
