When you alone and feeling depressed what music do you listen to.

I listen to really deep music that makes me feel worst and worst.

    Such as..

    Evanescence.. My inmortal, Understanding
Mortal Love.. I want to die, Hate to feel
    Opeth.. Hope leaves
The red Jumpsuit appartus.. Your graudian angel.
My dying bride.. My angel has fallen
scary kid scaring kid.. Watch me bleed.

    Anyone listen to simaliar stuff?

    Emilie Autumn: 4'O Clock, Opheliac

    Soul Asylum: Run Away Train

Pink: Conversations with my 13 year-old self.

Also Suicide Is Painless, but I can never remember who sings it despite listening to it so much.

I especially like Pink's song. Makes me feel a little less alone.

Usually Opeth/My Dying Bride/Anathema. Virgin black, celtic frost as well. I don't listen to them as much anymore as I do Marilyn Manson, The Strokes, Radiohead, Tokyo Incidents, Placebo... bands that give me more energy : )

when i'm 'depressed' now i understand why i was 'depressed' in the past. it was because of abuse, flashbacks and what i was in the moment. and god the stuff i come out right now is amazing compared to before, before it'd be "i'm floating away, i 'm dying x weeks" now it's not like that. the recent one was with my therapist, it was pure pure anger and rage at what was happening, her encouraging me to split when i came to her, cos she can't deal with difficult stuff.

I tend to listen to stuff like Blue October, Crossfade, Skillet, Smashing Pumpkins, Staind, Nirvana when feeling depressed. In hindsight it probably doesn't help me mood but it's good music.

I used to listen to super depressing music, but now whenever I feel down, I listen to some happier stuff. Music can have a great positive influence on you if you let it.

Sunny Hours - Long Beach Dub All Stars
    What I Got - Sublime
Look What Happened - Less Than Jake
A Better Place, A Better Time - Streetlight Manifesto

And a few more, but I can't remember right now...
