Ahhh, bed time rituals. So fun. What are things you absolutely must do before bed? Or perhaps do it involuntarily.

I pray to never wake up.

Some nights I cry myself to sleep.
Others I fall asleep to my girlfriend on the phone.
I wish that I will wake up next to her..

I've always slept with some sort of night light because I am a giant toddler.

I don't have a specific bedtime because I tend to only be able to sleep a couple hours a night/max. That's the way it's been since I hit puberty.
So when I'm feeling so tired that I cant move, my eyes are stinging and my stomache is in a knot, I lay down- roll around alot and close my eyes, hoping that I can go to sleep soon and stay asleep forever. I also tend to cry alot and have to flip my pillow several times.

    That's my ritual! THE END

I make my room as dark as humanly possible and try to fall asleep without any medication. If a few hours pass by, I'll either get up and just stay up or I'll take Ambien and hit the hay.

Set my alarm, turn off the lights, take my meds, bring my dog upstairs with me(he sleeps in my room).... sometimes i have like toast or something ... listen to music until i fall asleep or just think about random shit.

Every night before I get in bed I'll pace my room and listen to music for about an hour or two, it helps me unwind a bit.

I can't sleep more than a few hours for the past 2 months and this has made me not get tired until at least 3 in the morning when i have to be up at 7.

The meds aren't working anymore, there's too much light in this season
I feel like I'm falling apart, really it's making the bipolar take over
Every night I lay awake and feel like I can't let go of the day, like my mind isn't ready to sleep until something is resolved. It doesn't ever get resolved. The slightest thing wakes me up, I am constantly tired. I can't wake up. I can't focus. I think people are starting to think I'm lazy.

I take a shower within an hour before bed and as I am trying to slow my mind down a bunch of nagging questions fill my head. I usually google away the nagging questions then fall asleep quickly.

Sleeping restfully or staying asleep more than a few hours is the problem.

I need complete darkness and utter silence I am then just left to my own thoughts but I never sleep for more than an hour at a time.

I try to sleep with the lights on, I've recently become deathly afraid of the dark, to the point now I try to sleep during the day time.

And the TV helps, just background noise helps, can't stand nighttime silence.
