Where does it work beside hands?

    Where does self injury work the most?
    I dont want to cut arms (piano), but on my legs it doesnt work:(

    Hi Hurted, I only have certain areas on me that work too.......but I dont know if posting details is considered tip sharing so I wont say more.

    It would be considered sharing methods so please don't. It 'works' better on some parts of the body 'better' than other parts... ' ' over the words because at the end of the day self harm isn't better and doesn't work longterm, it's just another problem on top of what's causing you to feel this way in the first place.

    Sorry for this pointless thread...
    I actually didnt expect answers, but it was more "letting out", if you know what i mean...

    Well... if i cut hands, i feel pain in upper parts of body, but if i cut legs, i feel pain in lower parts of body which is not enought to distract me:(

    At least this help me to not cut...

    The problem is only that i want to cut, but i dont want to.

    try other less destructive things. i've always tried holding ice cubes and found it useful. i know some people i went to school with would snap rubberbands against their wrists. its not the same, but it can help take the edge off.
