Shedding light on these obscure faces
These memories once buried under whitewash
    Feeling earthly and real
As if they were Life-like manifestations of forever
    Bouncing around in my head

Past events given room to breath
    Instead they lash out
Becoming whips with a mind of their own
    Striking where they please
    Creating lesions
    Letting this torment escape
    In acidic release

    Temporary relief
    Becomes mingled with grief
    When an amateur gravedigger
    Goes poking around
    Where he doesn’t belong

    But....will he ever?
