Why do they say that suicide is a permanent solution for a temporary problem?

    The problem is NOT temporary!
    The problem is my life.
And I can't wait a lifetime to feel better.

    Hi mlxjaded,
I understand what you mean by it isn't a temporary problem....
Now i don't know how old you are, but I do know from own experience that
life isn't static, I mean, it looks like it never changes but in fact it does.
I'm not going to say it will be better in a certain amount of time, but there are ways to
try to change it and also changes that happen by hazzard, some event that can bring new insight or improvement in someone's situation.
Suicide, on the other hand, closes all doors obviously, you will be out of your problems for sure but by that you also permanently delete the possibility of great joys that life(though I can imagine you can't believe it right now) can bring. I had a little share of those amoung the years.

I hope you can hold on that thought, and maybe with professional help, peer to peer support like on this site, you can keep holding on for a while more and maybe learn some skills to improve your life or at least learn to cope with bad times.
    Take good care of you,

The world stuffed with idiotic statements.
I wouldn't take everything that you read or hear as absolute truth.
