why do you need to be strong before you can get support from normal person?

    why do you need to be strong before you can get support from normal person that doesn't have a problem in emotional?

    I've often asked myself the same thing, am glad to know there is someone else who understands this is the way it seems to be! I think the reason being, is that "normal people" try hard to appear like they have it all together, nothing troubles them and that we just get on with life as it presents to us, without asking questions about things which are too hard and make us feel inadequate. "Normal people" don't seem to like these very much, and will only have time for you if you can appear to them as they are themselves. Otherwise, their buttons start to get pressed and they don't like it, and respond or react by trying to keep you at a distance.

    In a perfect world, of course, it would not be like this. It's a symptom of things not being the way they were orgininally intended to be :(
