With my life and all i own breaking down infront of me and the anxiety attacks

I found a very pleasing way to deal with the pain

I started to cut my hand (inner palm)
And i found that the pain in a way calms me

    So know im wondering why?

    EDIT:
Note I dont cut my hand for suicidal or depression reasons,
I rarely cut and only do when I am over welmed with stress and anxiety

Instead of cutting do something that makes you happy. Cutting is not a good coping skill to start so try not to do this again. You will only do damage to your hand cause infection whatever stay well.

Cutting releases endorphins which calm you and make you feel “high”. It’s just the body’s way of dealing with physical pain (and other stresses such as strenuous exercise ) to make it more bearable.

Some people find that physical pain takes their focus away from emotional pain
