Why don't we have a hook up/dating forum?

Because it's a suicide forum full of vulnerable people. Easy prey for predators.

If people want internet dating eharmony is a click away...

 

Those sites are notoriously useless for people with issues.

You may be able to find someone on here that you happen to like talking to and decide to take further than just the forum-- maybe msn, perhaps the telephone or meeting up; if they're local, but that kind of thing should be kept private.

I'd rather not see messages about people hooking up all the time when I'm down. I know most people are here because of a failed relationship and they need to heal themselves-- not just 'hook up' and forget their woes.

Not saying that the original idea is terrible or stupid or anything... it just does not quite fit a "suicide forum".

 

Because we are here to support each other and offer genuine friendship NOT make life more complicated and cause problems.

 

Shocking but, not everyone is here for the same reasons you are.

Ever think that a large portion of people are depressed and here because they can't get relationships?

But, whatever.
