Well when it comes down to it its always you that has to want to stay in therapy. Your therapist probably wants you to decide so that they can determine if you actually want therapy. Even if you need it therapy may not help unless its something that you actually want.
As Kankuro said, it's always your choice whether to stay with therapy. Your psychotherapist may have been giving you a chance to evaluate whether it's working for you, as they wouldn't want you to waste your time if you didn't feel it was helping. Mim
