move back. For example i will be part way through typing a sentence then it will suddenly decide to move back half a line and continue typing. very annoying. Sure im not catching any buttons.

You're absolutely sure you don't accidentally touch on the touchpad? I have that exact same problem but it's due to the touchpad (and yes, it's very annoying.)

Is this a usual issue? If not try rebooting it, this fixes lots of silly issues like this.

If not a better fix, restore to a previous restore point and retry. I did hear of a windows update causing a issue like this.
If that don't work update windows, could be a bug in the windows update you have.

Thought of another thing it could be, if your touch pad is over sensative it will cause this so try changing the setting to a lower sensitivity.

I had an older laptop from 2007 windows xp
and It started doing this..I'd be typing a
Paper for english class and it would go back to like
The middle of paragraph and sometimes
I'd notice my whacked out sentences later.

Same for this new laptop my dad has.
And its brand new with windows 7.
I think its a laptop issue....
Never had a desktop pc do this.
Wish I could help..mine does this too

I think it's because you're somehow touching the touchpad (not knowing it). Had the same problem myself when I first got my laptop, and it disappeared when I got into the habit of keeping my hands completely away from the touchpad while typing.

You could try this, to solve the problem.
