    When my eyes finally close
    After searching the sky
    For some unknown savior
    To breathe back my life

Will it rain when my limbs
    Go numb from the cold
    Feeling stiff and dejected
    Denied and alone

    For years I have lain
    Watched them roll in
    Produce of my labour
    Clouds of my sin

    They've built my horizon
    Torn off my shores
    Sunsets emblazoned
    These brands I have bore

    Mercury's riseing
    The pressure will pour
    Until I am smotherd

Will it rain as I lay?
    Will the waters rush in?
    Invade me I pray
    Wash all my sins?

    Cleanse this poor body
    My soul has been calling
    These clouds to rush in...

    Let my ears hear relief
As the first tear drops fall
    Torment for beliefs
Will I feel it at all?

Will it rain down on me?
    Quench my thirst burning
    Leave remnants to drift
    Let the torrents start pouring...
