I wonder if that tree could see
What that man did to me.
If that tree had all seeing eyes,
Could it see past this life of lies?

I want that tree to speak for me,
So it could confess what they cant see.
I'm all alone in thoughts and prayer
because, unlike the tree, they werent there.

I wonder if that tree could see
What that man did to me.
If that tree had all seeing eyes,
Could it see past this life of lies?

I see that tree, guarding the night
If it could come alive would it've helped me fight?
Reach out its' branched, holding me
Loving comfort from this willow tree.

I wonder if that tree could see
What that man did to me.
If that tree had all seeing eyes,
Could it see past this life of lies?
