How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.

A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it.

No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytising faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.

Problems will arise if many coloured people settle here. Are we to saddle ourselves with colour problems in UK? Attracted by Welfare State. Public opinion in UK won't tolerate it once it gets beyond certain limits.

'Keep England White' is a good slogan!

Found out about these quotes a little while back, just thought they'd be of interest given their controversial nature....

If you have any salt next to you, pinch it.

Churchills beliefs on many topics have became out dated. You must modernise them. He comes from a time when racism was rife and an accepted practice.

The three main lines for me are

    1. "Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it."

    2. "The colonial populations are resented in Liverpool, Paddington and other areas by those who come into contact with them. But those who don't are apt to take a more liberal view."

    3. "Are we to saddle ourselves with colour problems in UK? Attracted by Welfare State."

Churchill didn't say that, Maxwell Fyfe did, it's written confusingly on that article.

I don't hold Churchills words as gospel, so no worries there.

What we need is a shared identity with certain ethnicitys, ethnicitys that have became British by birth. The biggest barrier we have is with muslims.

I think the new wave of flag obsession encites the opinion of racial supremity rather than building an identity.

England has lost a lot of it's identity (not because of foreigners by the way) and is trying to get it back by playing on difference, instead of finding that individual entity. We are searching for identity by trying to unite against other ethnicitys, other identitys, sad.

I remember you saying this a while back:

So, do you think it's bad or good? Have you changed your opinion?

Both, good and bad. We have a problem not being allowed to be British and a problem being too forceful when trying to be British.

It is ludicrus that someone got told off for having an england flag, but it is also evident the rise in the use of it as a stand against immigrants. I think there is a time and a place for flags and that is mainly in support of our nation in sporting events, or hanging from particular county halls and such.

Immigrants are blamed for the decline in English identity, in truth it is just the way our society has gone. Most cities have developed their own fierce local identity now instead of having a national one.

Putting a flag up is hardly being forceful.

    Time, place and purpose.

BNP going around everywhere waving the flag saying they will deport people who arnt white is a total misuse of it. Holding racist rallys with the flag flying everywhere.

Someone hanging the flag out for the world cup that is support for being english.
