Just woke up in a really hot and firey place and realised, Im the only bloke in a room full of women. Here I am trying to have a debate about stuff that bothers me but Im getting advice from women. Its not as though women are any less intelligent, there probably more so. Women wouldn't lead us into war with quite the same gussto as blokes. But my point is that I don't understand your moods and healing ways. You don't understand my critical view of the world. Im guessing here. Ive got lots of issues with the world because it affects me because we as men like to put the world to rights. Its natural I think. Women like to heal and show love more. They fight amongst themselves but when A bloke turns up you gang up on him. Poor fellow don't know what hit him. Your cruel and if you didn't have such lovely bodies and persuasive methods Im sure we would not live side by side. We would just venture over to your planet to preserve the species and then smile our way home leaving you to raise the kids. Why must you scare us with all these emotions?

I try and read peoples posts, but when it comes down to it, Im scared to say anything to girls. I talk with them but were totally at loggerheads for some reason. If I try and show some warm support for you (I have tried) I get my head bitten off and I get frustrated with women and say horrible things. (sorry reborn I thought you were a bloke, explaining why I felt so angry you didn't seem to understand me).

Sorry ladies

A couple of points :)

Just woe up in a really hot and firey place and realised, Im the only bloke in a room full of women
.

Lucky you. :)

Here I am trying to have a debate about stuff that bothers me but Im getting advice from women. Its not as though women are any less intelligent, there probably more so. Women wouldn't lead us into war with quite the same gussto as blokes.
Two words.

Margaret Thatcher.

But my point is that I don't understand your moods and healing ways. You don't understand my critical view of the world. Im guessing here. Ive got lots of issues with the world because it affects me because we as men like to put the world to rights. Its natural I think.
I think your kind of right in a sense. Men want to put the world right, and concentrate on the practicalities of doing that, where woman are healers and carers...but thats a good thing. Shit if all men were like my Dad, there would be no compassion, no love...Woman complement our strengths with there strengths.

Women like to heal and show love more. They fight amongst themselves but when A bloke turns up you gang up on him. Poor fellow don't know what hit him. Your cruel and if you didn't have such lovely bodies and persuasive methods Im sure we would not live side by side. LOL prepare to get your head bitten off again for one or two sentences there my friend :) Your right though. woman are very emotional beasts, its not easy for men to get to grips with it at times.

I try and read peoples posts, but when it comes down to it, Im scared to say anything to girls. I talk with them but were totally at loggerheads for some reason. Sorry ladies
I cant talk to woman either, but thats not there fault..its mine. I simply lack the confidence to do so..and when I do talk to them, its like im talking to a work collegue...like kind of professional sounding, and straight. I cant talk to them in a casual way like I talk with other blokes...I think thats because im afraid of stuffing up...or im just intimidated. I dont know, but I really need to overcome this problem thats for sure. Sometimes when you try and be nice to woman, and theyve had "man" issues they just instantly bite back...thats just the anger talking though, you have to understand that. I dont think there are many genuine, card carrying, man haters out there...

Yes Im a lucky boy

Maggie thatcher, point taken. I think she had gender issues though, despite the affair:smile:

yeah, we compliment each other I guess, in a sense that they can get round us with a few flickers of the eyelashes and a loving smile. puts to sleep most of my woes when they do that. And when things get on top of them I like bieng the friendly face to make things ok.

The funny side is when they compete with each other though, its so fierce seeing a girlfriend in full flow when another girls said something behind there back. its all she said this, they said that. They never back down

Im ok talking to girls when Im in a relationship with them, most other encounters lead to pain because I misread there signals and get mixed up when I think there flirting, but there really just having a laugh. Drive me nuts they do.

I obviously must have missed a woman biting your head off. But if you want to have the view that you do it's your right.

Ok I elaborated a bit.

See this is what I mean. I was gonna hug you back but was afraid you might see that as an approach by an evil boy. Can I hug you back?

But my point is that I don't understand your moods and healing ways. You don't understand my critical view of the world. Im guessing here.
What do you mean by "your moods"?

I understand your viewpoint of world perfectly. I've read all of your posts in this Let It All Out section and I get the impression that you dismiss someone that doesn't agree with your viewpoint as someone that doesn't understand it. This is just the impression I, personally, get from your posts and my response is basically that not agreeing and not understanding are very different things. I understand your cynical viewpoint and I understand your hatred of religion. You also talk very passionately about getting a peaceful world but then turn around and almost sneer at someone that has a different view/belief system. Hypocritical no?
Please don't take this as insulting either as it's not intended to be. It's just my take on this. I don't want to get into an argument. I'm just challenging some of your points.

Ive got lots of issues with the world because it affects me because we as men like to put the world to rights. Its natural I think. Women like to heal and show love more. They fight amongst themselves but when A bloke turns up you gang up on him. Poor fellow don't know what hit him. The world affects everyone. Everyone has different issues with it. I have lots of issues with the world, which probably differ from yours. That's not to say my issues or your issues are wrong. It's just that we are different people.

You have basically written the stereotypical societal view of what men and women are about. Men are saviours of the world. Women are fluffy, looking after the men types. Is that not a pretty backward view to take? Isn't equal rights supposed to be at the forefront of world issues right now? I don't want to get into a debate about gender right now but what you have written there is totally and utterly sexist and very condescending towards women. You write about the future and how we should all live together in peace but until archaeic views that men are superior to women (which is how your post comes across) are snuffed out that won't happen.

Emotions are communication. Communication is quite possibly one of the most important things in a modern world. Being scared of emotion, especially as you seem quite intelligent, literate and well spoken, is rediculous. If more people embraced and tried to understand emotion the world would be a more cohesive place. Emotion is not a bad thing to show or have.

The reason you're at loggerheads with women is because you come across as someone very patronising and egotistical and that immediately brings warning signs into a womens brain (obviously I do not speak for all women) that perhaps you are not a genuine person that really wants to show support or warmth. It's about instinct and reading between the lines. And those hidden messages that you seem to be sending (maybe you are, maybe you aren't) aren't very nice.

And it's not that I don't understand your points because I do. It's that I also understand those hidden points you are making too. Maybe you know that's how you come across and maybe you don't. Maybe you don't care or maybe you do.

I'll finish by saying that all that I've said here isn't meant to offend or insult. It's my honest opinion on what you have posted and an honest attempt to give you some answers.
