My anxiety keeps getting worse. At times, such as right now, I am fairly relaxed. This is not the case most of the time. At school, I'm a nervous wreck, and it only gets worse.

I have been having sever panic attacks which include chest pain and shortness of breath. I have seen my doctor for this, and they are panic attacks.

I'm not quite sure what to do to calm down when I'm extremely anxious. I am already taking meds for it. Sometimes, it gets so bad that I can barely stand it at school.

Any advice on dealing with it?

    Hello Daredhead,

In my experience medication only helps anxiety, it doesn't take it away.
Meditation, self help books and therapy can all ease anxiety. Is there anything particular that causes you to be anxious? Please don't try and cope with it alone

Maybe the medication you are on are not appropriate to your anxiety level.
I'd go back to your dpsy and talk it over. May i ask what you are taking?

    I'm taking clonazepam.

Clonazepam is a weak benzodiazepine. Ask your doctor about prescribing a stronger one such as xanax, valium or bromazepam.
