wouldn't it be better if there were nothing at all?

    hopefully there will be nothing on the other side.... as long as there is no consciousness either, no memory, or regret. The idea seems so peaceful.... Infinite nothing..... It's so hard to resist.

    When you are dead there is no brain activity or sensory input so it is pretty likely that there is nothing when you die.

    As a Christian, I actually hope that it's the opposite - that "those who believe in me shall not die, but have eternal life". I just hope God is forgiving. I should really be more confident that this is the case, but I am scared to death about it.

    Well no to all, no matter what there is on the other side, be it darkness or another infinity for life - just dont even think about it.

    Take this life for what it is. Dont admit defeat.
