Not a new one, but I still like it.

I've been bitten by the bug of jealousy
All because you don't fancy me
If only I could break you out of character
Then again, I still can't hate her

You don't even know how I feel about you
    But then again, you do
You don't even know how I feel about you
    Need to get it through

I want you to be by my side
But you'd rather be at her side
I want you to see me for what I am
You don't seem to give a damn

    Hello Witty_sarcasm,

Really good stuff. Did you write it? Can you explain the circumstances surrounding this poem? Jealousy can be powerful, and destructive. It takes a strong, solid soul to let it go, yes?

Yes, I wrote it. I don't think it was anything personal, but there have been times when I have felt that way. I am learning to let go of things a lot more easily now.

I have found that since I surrendered my life to God, without any reservation, without holding back, that I've begun to see purpose (and perhaps a plan) for everything of any consequence that happens to me...or around me! It's glorious. Forgiveness is easier when you can see the ones who hurt you through the eyes of The One who created them!
