morning out there.. how you doing today??? johnny wth momma tonight.. site was down earlier and I just went back to sleep straight away.. extra sleep helped a lot.. when sun arises , thinking take ipad that is charged and use GPS software and redrive to medical center next town over and try to remember details of how I got there this time. apts are for next Tuesday the 7th..

maybe a call to safeway later this morning to see if they open and debate today or tomorrow some????? thinking bluray of movie apocalypse now later today... also think we do scalloped potatoe sand ham chunks with peas for dinner tonight.. should be able to pull that off for us..

atm sort of ambivalent about it being 2014... aside from now having ot start amassing info and numbers for US tax return is no biggie to me...

Good morning Jim and all you lovely folks.

Yesterday was good, had lunch with friends and a short trip to Hobby Lobby. Bought some new yarn for scarves.

Was a quiet New Year's Eve, except for the neighbors who had exceptionally loud fireworks. Of course I was fast asleep at midnight. Got the bedroom picked up and vacuumed. Need to get the spot remover out I think.

Planning a quiet day. Hoping to find a livestream of the Rose Parade on the interwebs. Have steak and blackeyed peas and cheesecake for lunch. Going to work on my scarves. Ready to finish the one I'm on and start a new one!

Morning Jim - we are 12 hours into a 36 hour storm here - only a few inches of snow so far though. Sadly , when it stops snowing the temp is going to drop to below zero (that is -18c or so for our metric thinking friends) with 30 mph winds to make the weekend a true winter experience. Intend to stock up on hot chocolate and search for shows I havent seen yet for the weekend in between freezing and shoveling snow that the winds ensure will need to shovel the same snow multiple times .....

Ouch Ben. Although we have had some bad storms here, not snow storms but heavy flooding and gale force winds which left a lot of people in the south flooded and without power for days over Christmas. It's not been too bad up in the Midlands, although the winds have been gnarly. But we are due for some more in the next few days.


Just chilling out on my day off, going to go to Argos later to buy a giant lava lamp lol.

Got me some bloodwork done this morning, which is always a blast. Feelin' good, trying to ride that for as long as possible before a downswing sets in. Snowin' a little, but we're supposed to get the majority of it tonight and into tomorrow. But it's still FUCKING COLD!

This is international forum, ExtraSoap. Also imperial system is arbitrary and confusing to do conversions. US needs to get with the times on the goodness of base-10 system. :topsy_turvy:

Best thing about yesterday was I didn't get any spam email. They made up for it today though. Gonna go to Buffalo Wild Wings today. Horrible for a person's health, but tasty. Tomorrow is my birthday, and this will be my treat. Boneless wings are 40% off on Thursdays. Always get it to go because its so noisy there.

I know I really don't want to die, but I so want life to be different. I am very frustrated with trying to make it different. But will continue to try. Too bad you can't die temporarily.

Did 300 chess problems yesterday, and got current on the new set of problems today. My rating has went from 1070 to 1273 or so... On par with my endgame knowledge.

I need to write today. I'll kick that around.

Cafe Friday Jan 3rd

Site was down for about 15 hours.. That makes one appreciate much more when is working!!! John woke at 4 am and daddy going to run out of energy today..

Early this morning again had another dissociative event..hour or so could not find my butt with both hands on it.. Geez , I hate these times very much..

Was going to do shave, shampoo and bath and take us both for haircut.. Given up with that..shave, bath, wash clothes will have to do!!!
