Fibromyalgia

#1
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 13 years ago and had to give up my floristry shop and business. I've been in awful pain ever since and all the symptoms that go with it. Th effect on my life has been enormous. I've lost my house too and am now in rented. The last 3 years have been a nightmare with both my neighbours either side of me have been renovating their cottages and last year I was suicidal,I did start to feel better as it got quieter for a bit. Now it's all going on again and I'm so low extremely low and having very dark thoughts. It makes me feel so unwell I can't rest,I'm on hyper alert all the time. I have noise cancelling headphones and a trying my best to cope but now I'm crying alot and feel so sick and trapped.

That really does have to be a nightmare for anyone with particular sensitivities to noise. It would even be an nightmare for people with ordinary sensitivity to noise.

There's a book about fibromyalgia that I could recommend. I haven't read this particular one, but others in the series.

It is a nightmare it's like living on a permanent building site. That's why I'm feeling so bad. It's feels like no one cares how it's affecting me.
