How Are You Feeling Right Now?

From what you said it sounds like your body is fighting off an infection @Gonz. I'm not a doctor of course but that's how my body feels when it's doing a bit of fever to try to kill off a bug. Sometimes it works really quickly and I feel weird and then all better. In any case, I hope you continue to feel better.
I think that’s what it was. I was very tired yesterday, slept a lot. Maybe I managed to fight off a bug before I really felt it. I’m better now though.

hurting. This fatigue is less intense than it was yesterday. It's still knocking me sideways. last night I kept falling asleep for 2 hrs and then waking up again. I ran this pattern for at least 5 cycles so it was probably 10-12 hrs of sleep. I got up and dressed and got to my volunteer shift at the equine assisted cervices center. Got nuzzled by a horse which was nice. I'm thinking I should go more frequently, both so that I'm learning how to do stuff, and then so that I can repeat it into muscle memory. It's also such a boost that I'm thinking that, as long as I have time, why would I not be there as often as possible?

Right now, though, I need a nap. My hands are shaky and I cannot get my eyes to move with each other. It's okay if I close my eyes, then put my focus where it needs to be, and then open my eyes, but the transition is not so fun if I keep the lids open. I'm considering tracking my sleep to see if I can get a personal best of how many hours I can be unconscious in a week, lol. So far hydration is good but I've not been eating a lot a lot of food except what goes from the freezer to the microwave, with veggies being an afterthought.

I feel a little bit more contral, a little less disappeared. Am sort of proud of myself for doing well enough at a phone appointment today. Feelings-wise I'm tired out trying to be hopeful; instead, even if they're tiny, I need to accomplish some things.
We are proud of you too! Small wins are under-rated, keep at it!

Questioning a relationship in my life and how im going to get thru it. Its hard to deal with a "know it all".

My son is spending more nights at his girlfriend's. While im happy for him it leaves me alone at home. My daughters in school now too. Being alone leaves me feeling emotions I have trouble describing. Im trying to enjoy the freedom but missing talking with someone or just co-existing.

I got to bed very early around 9:30 PM last night. That's 4-6 hours earlier than my usual bedtime. I woke up about an hour ago at 03:40. That's about 7 hours earlier than my usual wake-up time. Hopefully this sleep issue is getting better. There is still daytime sleepiness but that's more or less my everyday baseline now. I'm feeling quite upset and regretful. This might also be a good sign because at least I'm feeling something, as opposed to the numbed-out miasma that has dominated the past week or so for me. I spoke with a friend from a long time ago to catch up, and I mentioned my job search paralysis. Even while talking through it, I just have no comprehension of why that whole issue is out of my control. It's like a line from the Pink Floyd song, "Brain Damage," - There's someone in my head, but it's not me.

At least I can see the silver lining in that at least I'm not compulsively harming people nor property.

@LumberJack we must be on the same clock, although I went to bed at 11.30pm and woke up at 3.40am, 7 hours before my alarm. I managed to get off to some kind of sleep again eventually. I was exhausted and waking up after 4 hours or so was not welcome.

I get the thing about someone else in head as well. At the moment I have a resourceful problem solved but once that energy is defeated I turn into a helpless, vulnerable wreck and brain brings up every single bad thing that's ever happened to me and knits them all together into some kind of magical tragic tapestry....

Hope you can find a safe way through your troubles.

Struggling just now. I have too many open loops in my head, and too many problems I simply cannot solve because they involve relying on someone else to fix because I can't fix them, and absolutely nobody will help. I have plenty of other worries that literally nobody can help with. And my brain just won't shut up about any of it.
🫂🫂🫂I hope it fixes itself......good day AvidFan
