How do we lose weight while in pain?

I have a rare condition (PGAD) that effects almost my whole pelvic area. I'm mostly house-bound because of this and can't even go in a car (to drive to anywhere helpful). I also over-eat so much now because it seems to help the pain sometimes and just mostly out of boredom and for comfort. I'm just wondering for those who are in similar situations, how can we motivate ourselves to diet? What exercises do you do if you're bedbound? (I can't do anything that effects the pelvis, even walking can be triggering sometimes). Are there any other ways of losing weight that has worked for you? In the 2 years my conditon has been at it's worse, I've gained so much weight that I'm classed as obese now.

When I am depressed I lose weight. All anyone can say, is to cut down the amount of food you eat. Stay away from junk foods, comfort foods, and eat produce types of foods. There is to much process food with high levels of sugar. Our brains love sugar, but our teeth and body does not.

I would lose weight when I was depressed too in the past, but since my condition I don't know why it's so hard. Probably lack of motivation and distraction, I really need a hobby lol

For my cousin across the pond, there are a number of hobbies you can do. Mine is making random jokes. Like when I meet someone for the first time, and they pronounce my last name correctly. I look at them and say, I see your good with foreign words. They may look at me and ask what foreign words? I would say you got my last name pronounced correctly. They looked baffled, and may say your name is English. Look right back at them and say, nope, it is Gaelic. *hysterical

Never underestimate someone who's family came from a old Viking name.
