I broke my ankle 3 months

#1
I'm still in the same toxic abusive environment. 3 months ago I broke my ankle. It took two trips to the ER to be properly diagnosed. I had surgery and am in constant pain. The people I stay with all threw me under the bus yesterday. And the lady was going to make me walk to the ER last night and she took my wallet, purse, phone, wallet, ipod, etc. I have to go to my psychiatrist today and am considering going to a hospital because of the pain.

whew. That is a LOT to be going through, isn't it? Why is your hospital there so shoddy? They missed a broken ankle the 1st trip? geez That's nuts. I hope by the time you return you've been to be seen again.

Another victim of that crazy February ice storm in Texas, I'm guessing. I was in Dallas for work, slipped on ice in the hotel parking lot, broke my shoulder. First doctor visit, the guy just assumed it was dislocated. And now, three months later, I'm sleeping about three hours a night. It sucks, I know.

Yes and I only slept 2 hours last night. Having bad anxiety now because my landlady took my wallet, purse, phone last night. I have to leave soon for my appointment and can't go because she's got my things.

What are you planning to do about that?
I got her to give me my stuff.

Went to the ER? Did they help you out for today? I guess they don't do much long term but hopefully they've alleviated todays pain.
Yes I did. I also went to the surgeon's office before I went to the ER. The surgeon's office said they would pass the message along. The ER gave me a few prescriptions for pain meds. I went to the pharmacy to pick them up so they will hold me over until I hear from the surgeon's office.

That's great. I didn't wanna have to go all the way to TX and whip some old landladys ass. (joking, you guys, no one report me... to myself)

I'm glad you got some meds to hold you over until you can see the surgeon at least. Keep your head up.
Thanks. Went to physical therapy today. Took a muscle relaxer and Tylenol when I got back. Dreading when she comes back. She was being mean to me this morning. I have to go to my primary care doctor next Thursday for tests for clearance for the surgery. She's going to be mad because my appointment is next Thursday. I told her the other night after all this stuff happened that she can't tell me what days I can and can't go to the doctor.
