I can't believe it

Just saw some posts on Facebook by someome I was close friends with back in school. Well, he said his sister was on the side of the road and got run over by someone. She was the same age as me, had 2 young sons, it is just shocking. I was close to her in middle school and still kept in touch a bit over the years. She was in the prime of her life, why do things like this happen? Just feeling deeply saddened by this news.
