I'm upgrading my computer, but I'm scared

Thanks for the replies.
Now I'm filled with regret.

I got a job offer, that pays pretty good.
But I can't do it because I need Windows to run the program.
I tired getting it to work, but there's no way.

Then I had to spend several hours fixing it because one update broke it so bad it wouldn't even boot up.
I managed to fix it, sort of but I have no idea what I'm doing.

I wish I didn't switch.
I would have been so much better off.
Goddamnit.
