Tysm for the tag @extraterrestrialone :)

Things that help me when I'm feeling down are reading, relaxing, playing a game on the net, having a synergetic convo with someone (doesn't happen very often these days though & have just given up on ever finding a person to really talk to like that again), watching Star Wars, my cat, writing, eating, ya I try lots of things when I'm sad cos I hate feeling that way very much.

this must be a special day! i got tagged ...and notified! and its friday! seemed like friday would never arrive! so big thanks @Kiwi2016 for calling me over and the alerting spirits who carried the message to me!!!😁. now so far i’ve only responded to your message Kiwi so i don’t know what has already gone above in the café. but i have to respond to something you said and it is not to try and impose anything but kind of as an FYI and hopefully a nice suggestion and in support of tea (as i sit here sipping my coffee!!!).

I think people think if you really need the caffeine you need the coffee and that may be so, but tea (real tea) is a very versitile beverage that has many benefits that i think coffee just does not have (and i’m still sipping the coffee here btw). anyway tea bags do not do tea any justice. tea is best when brewed from loose tea. btw you can buy empty larger tea bags and put the loose tea in the bag if you don’t want loose tea leaves sitting in the tea pot. and tea pots are one of the benefits. its a look! they may be quaint or picturesque or just a nice embellishment to the kitchen or dining room. and the tea aroma is so calming and reassuring.

to think you can be calmed and turned on by tea at the same time. there are so many varieties of tea (real tea). and once brewed in the pot, you can make it the strength you want or need as you pour it. by pouring the essence - more or less - into the cup and then adding hot water as needed.

i usually have my tea without sugar or anything else. my wife and sons have it with only milk. when i was a kid i had it with lemon and sugar. I occasionally do now too. putting the lemon wedge in the cup adds the lemon oil flavor which adds a new dimension to the tea. but lemon is not appropriate in every type of tea (real tea). and it is best to wash the lemon well and organic may be best in order to avoid pesticides.

ok! i know. i’m rambling and being me-wordy so i’ll stop. i just want the nonteadrinking world to be more aware of how good and important tea really is. tea really does help making it through the day! can’t live without it.
Agree with you on loose tea...and remember as a kid staying at a parent's friends house for a couple months who were English that I had really really strong tea with lots of milk...a fond memory you reminded me of so may just have to venture into the tea world again (at least on weekends)...
