Thanks for the Cafe and invite JMG *thumbsup
Hey everyone, hope you are well :) Saw there hasn't been a cafe posted for a couple days so thought I'd post it for today. Theme is questions or random, whatever you prefer ;) Oh also for those who live in the western hemisphere (North America) remember the clocks go ahead 1 hour tonight.
Thats only for some countries, the UK doesnt go forward until the 28th.

Here's some questions for those who enjoy or feel like answering some or all of them.

1. If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you want to go?
Two places spring to mind really.
1) Norway. I feel horrible this morning, a hangover post 30 is rough, and the clean air and lovely people in Norway would really make me feel better.
2) Bruges. I love the film "In Bruges" its just so hilariously harsh about the place, ever since then I have kinda wanted to visit just to see what its actually like.

2. Have you ever travelled to another country?
Yup, but mostly as a kid and nowhere ESPECIALLY adventurous.
- Norway (SO many times)
- Scotland (a couple times)
- Northern Ireland (a couple of times)
- France (once)

3. Do you like where you currently live?
Kinda. I like its history and its potential, but with the government as hilariously corrupt as it is and the culture circling the drain, its kind of depressing as a county.

4. If you won a new car would you want to keep it & drive it or sell it for the $?
Sell it, I have a decent cheap car already, and you can get a REALLY good car for under Β£10,000 here 2nd hand, but a new one goes for WAY more, so selling it would be the smart move.

5. Are you glad it is almost spring?
Not really, Spring is where Hayfever is.

The two places I want to go to are covered in snow (glacier NP and Alaska) so I'm inclined to go to Europe
Glacier National Park is great to see when it warms up. Been there quite a number of times visiting family in Kalispell Montana. Beautiful scenery and wonderful wildlife to observe. I bet you would enjoy visiting it. I know I still have a couple of the t-shirts from the visits here.

Wow tysm everyone who's replied here, really enjoyed reading everyone's answers! :) *hug*hug

@MosesY - Just wanted to say that I think that is a really nice jewelry box you're making for your daughter, she's so lucky to have such a nice dad as you who's making her something like that period. If my dad ever did such a thing I'd definitely treasure it forever. If any guys anywhere out there in the world who are at least 56+ (cos that'd be 20 years older than me) who either don't have a daughter, or aren't close with the one(s) they have and want to be closer to one then I'd definitely be a willing candidate. Just sayin'. My dad could be worse I know, least he makes some kind of effort in some way even if it is fairly minimal. I know there's people in the world who never met their dad or whose dad's are abusive & overall mine isn't (except maybe in terms of neglect/general disinterest in my life) so ya I'm glad it's not worse at least.

Quite a fun Cafe, JMG. I do fit the age of 56 plus, no kids here, but my niece has two little ones who are pre kindergarten age, and NO way do I spoil them. LOL. Let's just say I am full of shit, they do pretty much get just about anything I think they may like or want. I think they have me as trained as my cat does. :)

Quite a fun Cafe, JMG.
Just wanted you to know I appreciate this so much, your timing is so good I'd swear you're psychic or something lol. There's no way I could possibly express just how much this means to me right now. Thank you :)
PS - Your nieces kids are lucky that you care and show it to them like that. I think it's extremely important for children to have at least one person like that in their life. Lol about the cat comment too ha aw that's way too sweet! :) We spoil our kitty quite a bit as well, she definitely has a ton of toys :p It's very fun to spoil someone though, always been hard for me to understand how anyone could NOT feel that way about such sweet innocent beings.
