Jim's Cafe - Monday 19 December

Good morning my friends! :cool:

Specials on today's menu are ginger bread and champagne.

We have built a ginger bread house for Jim's cafe to celebrate the festive season. :confused:
We also have a bathtub of champagne for anyone that is thirsty.

@Worthlessness will be MC today, and will entertain the patrons with his stories :eek:
@Zambee123 will be serving cake and other edibles
@JacsMom will be serving tea and various other hot drinks :rolleyes:

@Butterfly will be doing the dishes, because it is her fave. job in the cafe :p

The challenge for today is to think about the person for whom you have the greatest love in this world (share if you like). For me it is my dear mother.

There are way too many people that I love and care about to choose just one. Can I choose my cat Shadow instead? She is my softest and warmest friend. Has the longest whiskers too. lol

I caught a chest cold that is trying to work its way up into a head cold, too. I really hope it just goes away first.

Actually did go to the soup kitchen. It was nice to have a variety of food, and we even got cake. I'm still hungry though. Could've probably stayed and gotten extras, but I felt nervous and wanted to leave so I got out of there. Called my insurance, and they still hadn't taken care of my problems I have. I got very angry because I don't know why they didn't fix them when they said they would. Feeling pretty low now. Think I'm gonna try to find a movie to watch.

I can't pick a person because I have a different sort of love for each of my favorite people.

Hello SF,

work has finally slowed down as the university fall semester is over. i think maybe a couple more days for final exams but everything is quiet around the place during those. I have to go in to work on Thursday but after that the university closes until the new year so i'm off. Couple family members coming to visit for christmas. One is my older brother who I am not on the most friendly terms with so we'll see how that goes.

Since I have two children, I cannot pick just one. However, I miss my daughter terribly, since she passed away several years ago. The holidays are always hard without her.
