1) a couple days ago when I went outside it smelt like the beach?! we're nowhere near the beach so I don't know where that smell came from but it reminded me of a few years ago when I was on holiday in Cornwall (england) and we had a caravan on a cliff overlooking a gorgeous beach and opening the balcony doors to smell the sea every morning mmmmm I miss it so much

2) I've had so many scary dreams I'm not sure I can narrow it down to just one! I've dreamt about being killed, watching myself being killed, monsters, killers, ghosts, graphic gory stuff, creepy stuff. I remember waking up once covered in sweat and my heart racing from one of those dreams. I recently had a scary dream that I was walking down a tunnel with people and we stopped at a hole in the ceiling. a dinosaur appeared that looked like a trex but bigger and with a longer neck. It reached into the hole and grabbed 3 people infront of me in its jaw at the same time and killed them infront of me. I was alone and terrified it was going to kill me too so I tried to go back deeper into the tunnel hoping it couldn't reach me but there were other dinosaurs further down the tunnel so I was trapped

3) I dunno, probably something I had to think of in philosophy classes at school or uni lol they were crazy random and weird

4) creaky shoes for some reason?!

That would be the last time I reminiscenced with myself *bleh

2 Still waiting for one that will truly scare the shite out of me.

I get loads of weird thoughts, I can't grade them, it wouldn't fair on those thoughts that didn't make it into first place.

1) When is the last time you experienced nostalgia?
Yesterday when I listened to the first album of my favourite band (1996). Not that I was listening to it back then, I was 3, lol. But it made me nostalgic.

2) What's the scariest dream you've ever had?
That's a tough question, I don't think you want to really know the scariest ones. ^^ But the more realistic it is, the more emotional I get and those are the worst.

4) What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word “fidget”?
The spinning thing, because I'm not sure I knew what this word meant before that phenomenon. Useless is the first word that comes to my mind.

5) What made-up word would you incorporate into the English language if you could?
Oh, there are often French words I want to use but there is no perfect English translation, I'm not sure I can think of them right now.
There is "profiter" which means "to enjoy the most of a situation", in a positive way, it's a subtle difference but it's so common in French and I want to use it all the time. It can also be used pejoratively, as in "to abuse a situation", "to take advantage".

One word from Swedish I like is "lagom", meaning "just the right amount", not too much and not too little. It's also a big cultural thing.

listening to tongue tied the other night made me think about all the good times of my early childhood , playing out with friends and wading in the ocean can't wait to get back to those

not sure if scary is the right word, but i remember years and years ago when i was maybe five or six i had a dream where my mother got eaten by a train with one eye, and it said to me something like "hello mya, i have eaten your mother" and i woke up . i've had spookier but i think that was the most impactful weirdly

"what if i drank petrol"

1) When is the last time you experienced nostalgia? Been a while, but I get more wistful than nostalgic knowing the days I was most content with things were in the far past.

2) What's the scariest dream you've ever had? I was in a race against time to stop a monkey living in my head from turning my brain off. I lost, DOH! That is the joke one. The one I can still remember was when I was a child I dreamed about a bear coming after me. People say I was still acting like the dream was going on while awake the next day.

3) What's the weirdest thought you've ever had? All of them pretty much with me. I also claim to never think.

4) What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word “fidget”? Me as a child trying to sit still when bored.

5) What made-up word would you incorporate into the English language if you could? Not sure if it is made up or in the dictionary but one used very often here is fixin' fixin' to go to the store.

I've had an incredibly lazy day today and did loads of online shopping - ooooops
I've ordered birthday presents for my best friend (necklace) and son's girlfriend (earrings), some new mugs, a dress and a couple of washable face masks.

1) When is the last time you experienced nostalgia? Probably on my daughter's 21st birthday a couple of weeks ago. It always makes me a wistful as it was the happiest period of my life when my children were small.

2) What's the scariest dream you've ever had? I used to have a recurring nightmare that I was being chased by the some people who were going to kill me for some reason. I ran up to the roof of a carpark and saw what looked like a concrete rubbish shoot. I jumped in it before anyone could see me and started sliding down it. But the tunnel got narrower and narrower until I was wedged tight. I couldn't scream for help or they'd find me and kill me but I knew there was no other way out and I'd just have to stay there until I died.

3) What's the weirdest thought you've ever had? When I was small I thought that the police lived in the police phone boxes at the side of motorways.

4) What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word “fidget”?
My son's nickname when he was small was Fidget Pants as he couldn't sit still for more than a couple of minutes.

5) What made-up word would you incorporate into the English language if you could? It probably wouldn't be appropriate for the cafe

Believe me I wish my answer to the any exciting online buys could be yes, tons of things (prob. all or at least mostly SW things of course lol) but no the real, non-made up (not that I'd ever do that anyway cos I wouldn't) show-offy answer is no, nothing at all. 1) When is the last time you experienced nostalgia?
I have it quite a bit, but I guess the other day after my sis left I especially had it cos I just miss when we last lived together which was close to a decade ago. Things have changed a lot though since she is married now.

2) What's the scariest dream you've ever had?
Can't think of the "scariest" dream but have had far too many nightmares of my pure evil stepmother from hell (thankfully a lot less these days so hopefully that means my mind has calmed down & maybe even accepted the infinite injustice of that horrific miserable experience).

Lol no way am I putting this here sorry. I've had a lot of weird thoughts anyway so dunno that I could even pick which one is the weirdest.

4) What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word “fidget”?
Someone not being able to sit still, ya my mind can be pretty literal a lot of the time, it is constantly trying to make sure it understands what's being said & if it doesn't it can get kinda mad (or at least annoyed) about it.

5) What made-up word would you incorporate into the English language if you could?
Plarp cos it's a hilarious (imo anyway lol) word that my sis & I came up with as kids, we used it to refer to a blanket fort basically. The full term we'd always use was "play area plarp".

1. nostalgic: every time i go out cruising and see other antique cars brings me back to the good old days when cars were made of thick steel and had powerful engines

2. worst nightmare: every once in a while i get this nightmare i'm still young but i can't get discharged from the navy. i was in for a 2 year program and in my dream i was still in this 2 year enlistment but i've been there 5 or 6 years. i go to my superior i even go to the base commmander and all they say for years is well work on it. i also lost all my uniforms and shoes and can never find my locker lol

3. weirdest thought : i have a very dark side and watch some pretty dark stuff sometimes. also have a fascination with historical torture devices. and my favorite is when the inventor has to use it, justice

4. fidget : for me it's when pain and nerve pain are high and i can't stay still at all until it comes down, or waiting for something and wanting it so bad that i can't sit still until it's here or installed

This morning I had a phone therapy assessment with the NHS and now trying to get myself to go for a run (by being on here )

1. I experienced nostalgia yesterday when I shared images of the true ho beary with @Sunspots . Did anyone collect different papers and envelopes to make stationary albums when they were kids??

2. I've had scarier dreams but this morning I dreamt that I was driving along the motorway and my brake wouldn't work. The car was zooming faster and faster and I had to stay on lane and not crash. The police were behind me alerted to the crazy driver. Eventually they realised I was trying to brake from the brake lights and it was a malfunction. I couldn't stop the car . ....

3. I don't know if I had weird thoughts.

4. Fidget spinners! Driving and spinning the wheel.
