Thanks @Kiwi2016 for tagging me. It's been an awful day (few days) though. But @JMG this is a question I gotta answer.

Or is it better to be more forgiving and not try to get revenge on them in some way?

I do try to just not do a bad thing back. It is not necessarily forgiving but it is not deliberately hurting. Am I as good as my attempts? I don't know. Lots of people read my behavior as hostile even though I'm not. I try to be good even if I get trampled upon.

Or, I know that it can be brought out by certain people that irritate me, and there aren't many. What I'm trying to say is, let them read your behavior any way they want to, it's what you believe to be true that matters.

I didnt want to snitch on someone at work and my boss was grilling me, I walked away. I got written up for insubordination. Hostile? Not sure. Unprofessional, well, yes I think I was.

Hi Lane. I hope this was not this week!!! Anyway, I'm not so sure "grilling" is all that professional either. Of course I don't know the situation, but it just seems to me that this was a situation that was likely to bring out the worst in people and a more professional supervisor would have been more tactful.

Thanks for the tag. To answer the thread's question, forgivenes is the ONLY action to take. Because if I had taken revenge, I would have literally killed the person. And then I would be in prison for the rest of my life. I'm responsible for my own emotions.

Yes though hard...it is by far the better option....
