Hmmm... Cafe was late to be opened this morning- the holiday schedules are so hard to keep up with.

To make up for the late start, all cafe food and drink will be half price today!! Please feel free to leave a request for any particular offerings you want for today's menu as we will be having them catered today...

Friday will be the SF holiday party - it will be a non denominational party that all are welcome to celebrate their own beliefs in and share their own ideas of the season so rather than saying "no secular festivities", we will welcome ALL equally, including of course "none but a desire to be with friends and laugh"

The goal for the day - to think of something nice to say or do for somebody else in the world- whether you know them or not....

As for the goal, I've always wanted to help people by volunteering or teaching underprivileged children. But I'm kinda stuck in my TESOL course and everything has taken a backseat since I went on a downwards spiral...So I hope I get back up soon so I can pursue my goal!

Saw my counselor this morning. She was helpful but I'd really like to have psychiatry services and maybe a therapist connected with that too. Might go to a meal at the church my sister used to go to when she went to school in Pittsburgh, but I'm sort of worried they'll bug me about God or something. I'm not very comfortable with the whole church setting, even as non-traditional as this one is, at this point in my life, but eating would be nice. I don't know whether I'll go.

Can't think of anything I can do for anybody now. I'm pretty worthless + a selfish bastard lately.

I smiled at everyone at the gas station today. Hope that was a good deed done as well as going to tip my chinese lunch lady the usual generous over 30% tip

Good evening!
Today I'm proud of myself for not being online as an escape at all today and for staying busy all day - except in the morning before 12, but from then, for the past about 12 hours.
I'd like some potato and egg pancakes, together with some cut up and fried sausages and coffee ice cream. Thanks! I'll take my table in the corner, where I can sit and observe everyone.
