Well I don't really know what happened to Kurt but he probably has passed over and is no longer in pain.
Kurt (Aquariamethystea, his account hasn't survived all the server migrations but his old posts on the forum are still here) one of the first friends I made on this forum back when I joined. He really wanted to live but had a serious illness and his prognosis was that it would only get worse. He joined Final Exit network and there were a few articles about him https://www.foxnews.com/story/right-to-die-fight-becomes-disabled-mans-reason-to-live.
We planned to meet in London back in summer 2007 but he eventually couldn't come. When Microsoft decommissioned Messanger I lost contact. A few years ago I noticed I had his Outlook address in Skype but he hadn't been active for a long time. Yesterday I noticed that the address was gone and all that remained in my address book was "Kurt".
Rest in peace my friend
