Hi everyone new here. I have come down with an illness that no doctors have diagnosed yet and I feel like times running out for me. I have paralyzed nerves from my head and face down my neck. Throat paralyzed can hardly swallow. Esophagus as well food moved very slowly. And to top it off my bowels are numb and can't poop or barely pee. Been to every doctor and they keep referring me. Been to er 6 times in 5 months. I'm about to give up no one knows what to do. Had all mri's done. I'm about to give up but afraid because I'm a christian. How is there any hope of going on? I would need so much done..

Sounds like you're having a really rough run of it @mimi22. All I can say is that you're worth the effort so please don't give up on yourself. Sometimes it just takes one Dr to look at things slightly differently and that will make all the difference. Who would have thought that fecal transplants would have been something that can have such a positive health benefit for certain people? The body is an amazingly complex but robust thing, hopefully the thing to get you back onto the right path isn't too far away.

@mimi22 I have a lot of trouble with my bowels and urinating too. Have been diagnosed with IBS (Irritable Bowel Disorder) for the one. And sphincter detrusor dysssynergia for the other. It can be so painful when you can't urinate. But I am taking a med called Tamulosin that enables me to go. Don't know if these might be part of you problem or not, but might be worth looking into. Hi there, I am so sorry to hear you are going through all of this, its dreadful but please know that when you are here with us you don't have to go through it alone.
I think you should keep trying and demand the help you need not constant rejection from doctors, they need to find out whats wrong so they can treat you.
I apologise in advance is this is a stupid question but you can afford to go and see a doctor about it privately, it would speed up the referrals i'm sure.
