Real men wear pink

:laugh: I just saw this thread.. and it's kinda funny because I just saw a bumper sticker the other day that said: "Only Real Men Where Pink"

A lot of kids in school, the guys of course, wear pink.. .it's like the new "thing" I guess.. I say only certain guys can pull of the pink thing.. a shirt or something here and there.. but overly pink just makes me think they're gay :blink:

I think men never use to wear pink because they were afraid of looking homosexual


Now when people say things like "I'm not afraid of my sexuality" that basically means if you don't wear pink you are gay(more or less in the closet)

Basically its just another one of society's mind games.

My boss at work is scared to death of pink things, so of course every chance we get we find a way to include that color, but speaking as a male that drives a small little pink truck (dark pink but pink none the less at least to me) I figured that if someone really cared what color my car was then screw em. I have found its more fun then embarasing to drive it now, I alwasy find a way to pack two of my other freinds in the car and that always makes for a fun drive :rolleyes: Great way to make other people drive you were you want to go as well

What do you think of men wearing pink?

I see many guys going around in pink and I personally don't see anything wrong with it. But like all clothes/colours, it suits some guys better than others. Sure, pink is a feminine colour but it hasn't always been that way. It wasn't until the 1950's when women taken over the colour pink and made it our colour!

So what do you think? Should pink stay with the girls or do you think there's nothing wrong with it?

I think it should soley depend on the person, if they like it or not. Blues and greens and such supposidly are man colors but I see woman wearing them too. It just varies and depends on the person - my opinion. But think about this I never wear pink and I'm a woman....so.....see.

I hate pink. But I could care less what colors people wear. I cant see why any one would.. people dont like any thing different so the any one who is will be descriminated.

I think it's perfectly OK for a guy to wear the color pink...as long as he's well over six feet tall and can benchpress 500 pounds. Just kidding!

To me there is no cut and dried answer. Some guys can pull it off successfully, others can't. It's like long hair on men. Some guys look really good with long, flowing locks, others ( like myself ) cannot.

Dolph Lundgren, Hugh Jackman look very masculine with long hair, but both men
have the good looks of a model. The late comedian Sam Kennison or the singer
Michael Bolton looked like total crap with long hair.

Pink shirts, long hair, tight pants, it all depends on the guy and what makes him look the best.
