Sick of illness

Yes, so like my title suggests: I am tired of being physically and mentally ill. Both is not something you can see on the outside. But I am so frustrated and tired. I am not getting good treatment because the doctors in this country don't understand much of it. They will give you a pill to lessen the symptoms, and that's it.
I also don't have the money for the alternative route. My insurance will not cover those expenses.

I am so tired .

I understand and feel your frustration and pain. I have been dealing with mental illness for a lifetime. As I age more and more things go wrong physically. That only makes the mental stress worse. Cannot get help in the US of A because of lousy insurance. But then I also seem unable to take actions on my own that would help.

I am sorry that you are tired because of this. Mental+ physical illness is not a good combination at all.. For me, I am already so so tired because of mental illness, so that means I also have trouble taking action for the physical one. It means I need to get a better paying job, but I just can't go through all that right now. And the physical illness makes me feel frustrated 24/7.

It's different here in the UK, luckily I have private medical insurance through my company, although they don't deal with mental health problems, so stuck in pain, and the depression and anxiety just grows and grows. There is one good answer for me, but this medicine costs money. A lot.

I can't afford this treatment. Instead they'll just give me another painkiller or a benzo and send me on my way. Today this happened again...

Ouch. Some pharm companies will give you meds at a discount ( with prescription of course ). Have you tried that route?

In here they don't do this. It's whether you accept the doctor's treatment (and get that covered). Or if you want something that actually might work, you need to pay for it yourself. Socialism.
