Had a chat about that in chat yesterday so i looked it up... apparently Great Britain sometimes just called Britain is the main island, england wales and scotland. And the United Kingdom of Great Britain, or just UK is Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
My post is new and this thread is old but, so what ?
How many people outside of Britain are going to be aware of Britain's prejudicial
differences and territorial wars ? How many outsiders are going to know the score about who hates who ?
Before the breakup of the former Yugoslavia became international news, how many Brits could name all the many different ethnic and political factions that were fighting there ? How many Brits knew the difference between a Hutu and a Tutsi before 1994 ?...or even cared ?
Hint: Britain is small, the earth is big. Just because some of us haven't learned
who all the players are in your corner of the world doesn't mean you are being disrespected.
