Why Does My Mind Complicate Things?

So, I am on some eligibility (for hire) lists with the County. I get various notifications that my name has been referred for various openings for the job classifications I am eligible for.

I got four new notifications this morning. My mind somehow went to: OMG! I have to respond to each email and send the deliverables they want for each notification.

Actually, all I had to do was open each email, click a link to respond to the notification, and select if I was still interested.

So, got that done today! Also another resume out and a telephone call with a recruiter contact to check-in on temp work. AND a possible job opening that I need to respond to...so that's on tomorrow's list for job hunting!

Best of luck for you. It is good getting the notifications and better to reply and show interest. Not only does it give you a task to do but you are acting and taking action can often make a person feel as if they are really doing something towards their future.
