So, my life growing up between 6-12 was nornal until January 2011 and for the last 15 years, my life is utter hell. I'm a convicted felon so no job wants to hire me, my grandfather died recently, my dad is in prison for shoplifting, I don't know how to drive yet and I'm 28 years old, I have a weed addiction, and I don't see any path forward but homelessness eventually. But through all those years of hardship, I looked for something to live for. When I was in that toxic environment for the first 10 years with no way of avoiding it, I just figured that you should exhaust all of your options before you give up. And I have by now. All of that waiting for something better to happen amounted to nothing. I'm disappointed, and rightfully so. But one piece of wisdom I have for you is this: in 2024, I became a Christian again after 15 years of being an atheist/agnostic. I converted while I was in prison. One verse I'd like to show you is this:
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (John 14:2)
If you murder, you might go to heaven and lose everything just like that, and your next life will look exactly like this one. If you endure to the bitter end, you will be rewarded. Simple. Be an overcomer. I think the biggest thing that saved me was growing up.
