It's a cliche I dislike often , especially when it seems like people say it as a rehearsed thing. But , I believe it's something we often want to know because I think that's part of being human.
So , I will try to say it to you , whoever is reading this with sincerity.
You matter , I know you might not believe this because the world is big and humans are plenty. Why do you matter when there are so many humans , anyways? You matter because despite the thousands of similarities you might share with someone , you're still unique as a complete being.
Have you ever helped an insect? You saved it's life and you might not consider it a big deal but that small animal might forever be grateful to you.
You matter because the way you laugh is so pretty and no one can laugh it the way you do. You matter because you're hurting and learning and acknowledging and feeling , and you're alive through it all or maybe you're numb but you're still human.
I think you can be broken and still whole. And you might feel like no one cares about you , but someone might be just willing to give you a hug , with sincerity.
You matter because someone still recall the words you said to them or the actions you did.
You matter because you're part of nature and it's beauty. You're connected to it , like a child.
And all those small wins , the wins that might not have been acknowledged by others , no matter how small , they matter and I am happy for you , for them. It must have took you a lot of strength to achieve it and you did.
